Churchill the imbecile who lost thousands of lives fucking up in Gallipoli.

Farage the opportunist embarrassment who help put The UK in the dark ages.

Thatcher who divided the nation.

You are fucking grovelling to the Eton establishment mong.

A lot of dead Englishmen (and one woman) suggested here. On a thread about Sir Trev. Superb.

Was sharing a coffee only the other day with Sir Ike - asked him how he missed the spectral lines and that finding them could have cemented his name in history.

He didn't reply.

Because he's DEAD.

Toss up between Winston Churchill, the last white bloke with that forename, Nigel Farage who fucked the liberal establishment over, single handed, or Maggie Thatch

Re: Greatest living Englishman
Happy Birthday Sir Trevor. Was lucky enough to be at his last game, pity it was a defeat. Great that his career coincided with Billy Bonds, complimented each other well in that central midfield but is best remembered for the ball hitting him on the head at Wembley!!

Re: Greatest living Englishman
Never see his like again. A marvellous player who respected the game and just got on with it despite having lumps kicked out of him every week. Also a very kind and caring man.

Happy birthday Geno.

Happy birthday to Sir Trev. A real legend in my family for not just your footballing achievements but the kindness to my late son-in-law.

( I am glad to share this day with you albeit a year further on!)

One player we’ve never got near replacing and never will due to how the modern game is now a cunt…..39 years and still missing his genius and pride in representing West Ham United & England…. Happy Birthday Trev!
